In April 2010, the world lost a visionary designer and artist, the full potential of his genious yet to be fulfilled. At only 26 years of age, Alejandro Bulaevsky had already distinguished himself as a designer with immense talent, intellect and ambition.

From 2006-2008 he worked for Arc Light Design as a project designer on a large range of hospitality and fine dining projects, both domestically and internationally. He was co-founder of Matirical in 2007, a lighting fixture and controls company which specialized in the design and production of custom LED technology installations. In 2008 he joined the design team of Lumen Architecture where he worked as a Senior Designer on a wide range of projects, including high end residential, hospitality, retail as well as gallery and civic projects.

He was a spirited individual, who lived life to the fullest. When he wasn't working, he was jet-setting to one of his favored metropolitan destinations: London, Berlin, Rio De Janeiro, Barcelona, to name a few.

Alejandro's spirit will continue to resonate in our hearts and minds. His loss will be felt throughout the design community. He is survived by a loving family and a global community of friends
